With a deep exploration of personalities at odds, clashing frames of reference, and a shared love interest, and the subtextual corrupt rule of the Wizard of Oz threatening the world, everybody and anybody is bound to get drawn into the captivating storyline, quippy theatrics, captivating characters, and, of course, composer Stephen Schwartz’s soaring and memorable melodies.
